There are a couple of great threads with 26-27 coupes, use the search option, lots of pics. If you are building an Altered, how about a tube chassis? If it is a street rod, most use a suicide perch T-bucket type. For a more traditional car a Model A works well. I think your big decisions will be wheelbase and ride height. It would be great if you could post pics of the build, there are a number of HAMBER's with 26-27 T coupes.

The problem is many people don't use enough info to use the search. T, 26 or 27 is too short. It's gotta be 4 characters. Coupe will be too broad.
Suggestion would be to ask for everyone to use 1926 or add hyphens like t-bucket, t-coupe, 3-window etc. at least in titles.
It's not as conversational, but it would sure help find that year-old post.

  4. Hit some swapp meets, rummage sales and Ebay. Buy up a bunch of old magazines. Great reference material, its what we did before Al Gore invented the Interweb thing, which by the way I contest is a passing fad.

So far I have a 27 tall t,28 model a frame/suspension,59 pontiac rear,59 283 chevy with 57 fuelie power pack heads, and a 60 2-speed powerglide. I was thinking 15x7 slots/piecrust slicks for the rear. And 15x4 spindle mount look alikes or the stock 19 inch wires. I really wish I had a blower, but I guess I could settle for a tunnel ram for now.I really like the look of the fiat topolino altereds so I think thats the direction Im heading in.
