Surely some of you guys around Macedonia, OH (where the Iarussi's are evidently from) can do your own Google research!
This is a copy of a handout I got from Dick, when he came to the Northwest in '65, along with a couple of clippings from the paper. The small one refers to a race between Mark Danekas and Preston Honea.
car looks better without all the decals, considering car has been around this long, it really looks good thanks for posting jim
car in post 1482 is a different car, check wheel wells, car in post 1499 is a picture of godzilla dated 1969,has iarussi on front fender
I thought so, but I really couldn't tell with all the decals! But now I know what a silver 55 chevy with AWB would look like. I think it would be cool! It still would be nice to know if its still around? Stan

Best thread ever!!! Lets not forget Bobby Woods factory sponsored 1965 Chevelle built for a brand new NHRA class called Funny car!!
Cornelius#2, that would be great. It would realy be great to know how well it did back then? Times, and speed. Stan

New addition to the fleet. After some tuning, a wheel change and some warm weather, we will be at the track
I knew the fellow who built your new car. He passed away several years ago not long after he built it. Cool car!

it has run there, but it sounds as though the driver was a bit timid on a slick track. I would be pleased to be consistant at 10.50. if the snow ever melts, we are going to give it a thrashing
The owner of this car offered my brother a straight across trade for his aggressively-raked Buick GS. I'm happy that you picked it up. I can't wait to see it with the proper rolling stock!
