    <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top>Just wanted to show what im working on.
Lurked for a long time on here, got alot of good info for my build from here so guess this is more of a thanks also. lol
Had the car over 20 years but racing came first till Now...?
    Its a 1964 Rambler "American" - 330 ( Sedan or "Post")
73467 org. miles ( 2nd owner ) Bought new in Rogersville, Tn. (only 28 miles away)

SPEEDWAY 54'' St. Axle Kit ( GM Disc Brakes ) GM Bolt Pattern (Cousin Pete was a big help with Install)

Rear Axle moved forward 10'' (making new lower quarterpanels to be installed.)
Rear Leaf Springs moved in 5 inches to accept wider 9'' Slicks. (Ford 9'' Rear End)

Randall Burchett is doing most of the rear work, wheebase work, making the quarters etc. (He is building a 55' Ford Gasser also."High Yellow").
Gotta thank Tom Jones (the truck driver not the singer:D) for use of his garage also.

Engine is a USAC 410 "Spec" Engine (used in Silver Crown cars)
    Intake has been changed to 2 X 4 Tunnel-Ram 600cfm Holleys.

Love the 60s look paint (flakes/panels etc.) so gonaa try to go with something in that area.

Wanted to make sure to give credit where credits due, thanks to all these guys for helping me make this happen!

......and definitely different! That 410 USAC
"Spec" motor with the intake switched to
a tunnel ram and dual 600 Holleys should
pull like gangbusters! Please keep the the
    updates coming!

You know.... the USAC Wingless Sprint Cars?
Its a SBC thats pretty much the standard of sprints you see (winged and wingless)
His dont have the injector or dry sump system anymore but since I think his may be an old Earl Gaerte motor he still has plenty to play with.:)

By the way i think this is the best thing to do with all this old race stuff than to sell it for pennies on the dollar.
Its what he is doing, when the racing comes to and end for whatever reason.... buy ya an old cool car of some kind and put that stuff to use!

When it comes to ULTRA COOL RAMBLER you've just set the bar. Not long ago I had the chance to buy a rust free one just like yours. I envisioned a home for my 600 hp 355 SBC ovaltrack motor and a set of wheel flairs, wide tires and lowered stance just to mess with a few Mustangs on the expressway. Yours however will make it's statement on the drag strip. Be sure to post a utube of it's first run.:D

Just wondering......is the car gonna' be a stick
or an automatic and what gear ratio are you
planning to run in the rearend? (Hint - hint
    - I'll bet that USAC sprint car motor would
    just love a set of 5.38s or 5.57's!! :D )

If it were mine too, for even more grins, :)D:D)
for a tranny, I'd probably try and scrounge up
an old Doug Nash 5-speed. Or maybe even
    cooler, a 3-speed clutch-hydro! By the way,
    speaking of clutch-hydros, I haven't seen one
in years, but just found out that Winters still
makes 'em and they offer a conversion kit!
