Many people need a deeper inside offset wheel when they have a bad subframe job. Such as the second gen Camaro/Nova front subframe grafted into a 50's and earlier car - the problem is the track width is too wide for the body. To keep the front tires from hitting the fenders, a lot of people use S-10 4x4 wheels. This S-10 wheel really limits your wheelcover hubcap options Here is an alternate choice, not quite the depth offset like S-10 wheels, but more than a std steel wheel. Use a Jaguar wheel. Think of it as in-between. I found this out when I put an 86 Jag front and rear suspension into my 53 GMC pickup project. The stock Jag wheels have a lot of inside offset, probably about 1 inch more than a std GM wheel has, I haven't measured it specifically. The Jaguar bolt pattern is same as Chevy 5 on 4.75 inches. Could also work if your rearend width is a bit too much and gain some extra outer tire to quarter panel clearance. A lot of the Jaguars have alum wheels, but some of the older ones have steel wheels. Just throwing another option and information out there, YMMV.
