Alternative uses for engine parts?

    I have a homemade slide hammer I made years ago, the weight is an old cluster geat out of a 3spd Chev. Have jackstands made from model a axle housings I made back in the 60s, still use them. Used to use junk engine blocks sunk in the lake to tie my boat off bow first, would ride out the worst storms. Also used then for trotline weights. weld pipe to junk wheels for grinder stands, etc.

    get a old 4 barrel intake manifold, and use as a cupholder in your rod..good for those slushies.

    I love the cocktail table. That's why I've still got my 287 Poncho mill takin up space on the garage floor. :D

    Now if only I can talk the wife into it.:rolleyes: hahahaha SUCKS TO BE YOU GUYS!:p

    my brother inlaw made his wife a flower pot

    out of a 318 block

    set it by the front door and filled it full of dirt and flowers

    Kieth Black connecting rod (left over from engine disaster) machined, (big end) to fit over the snout of my S.C.o.T. blower, then small end fitted with a belt idler pulley, to tension the drive belt from the blower pulley to the crank pulley on the front of my flathead.

    Rods and Pistons can be made into headlight stands if you spend enough time to do it.
