 Hi, can someone help me out with my alternator conversion? I have a 1962 F100 with the 223 six in it, my generator has packed in so I am going to replace it with an alternator I have.
I need help on the wiring. The alternator has a D+ connection and B+ connection. I know the D+ is for the warning light and the B+ is the battery connection (right??) my question is what happens to the 2 small wires that were connected to my generator? One must be the warning light but what is the other and where do I connect it? The big wire off the generator goes to the B+, right??
Also what do I do with the regulator box on the inner fender?
    Thanks.
