Ok,just a ? I have a one wire alternator, mounted to the lower driver side of engine. The problem is that the back bolt to the alternator hits the vega box,so I decided to open the alternator n moved bolt position, would that cause a problem...everything looked to go back in its place,n bolt was moved over..thanks for help in advance

Shouldn't be a problem as long as the brushes went back into place. I've re-clocked GM alternators like that before without any problems.
