What do you have now, 6V generator?
What are your power requirements? (electric fan(s), A/C, big sound system?

Like to add sound system, electric fan,a/c

  5. Some custom brackets, a 3 wire gm 10si (mid late 70's cars) and a new belt. Any gm product from 1973 to 1980ish. All my cars get them (Ford, Chevy and Studebaker) as I don't like the voltage reg look, unless it's a original car for show.

Chuck an alternator from a Japanese Diesel on it.
They have quite a powerful vacuum pump on the back of them.
Then you will have vacuum wipers on your Olds that won't die when going up a hill

x2, the 3 wire 10si alternator is my all time favorite. I have had the one wire type 10si in 3 cars, but one by one, I have changed all to the three wire.
