This is the first one in awhile that hasn't had 3 pedals (took me awhile to remember how to drive it) I'll make up for it with my "40" coupe. Gary

Didn't get much done on it over the summer, but it's in high gear now and moving along nicely. Up-date with pic's to come soon. Thanks for asking and thanks to all for the kind words about my truck. Gary

rather than shortening the pitman you maybe should have dropped the steering arms

did the same thing only different on a 52 Chevy truck. couldn't make a U-turn for***** til we redid it.

You can't do that because the steering arm is allready close to the axle, this was really the only way. Probably more room on the chevy.

Dave (Roadburner1) Thanks for your input. Dave handled most of the chores in getting this thing down outta the clouds along with a little input from the Tech archives at Sweptline.com Thanks for your help. Gary

No Problem BUDDY...............oh bye the way its almost time to move Jens
    stang to the shop..........hint hint:)

  26. I had a buddy that had a '67 with a slant 6... We tried everything we could possibly think of to kill it in a grapefruit grove... It wouldn't die... a few years later, we drug it out, some used tires and a battery and used it on the street for a lawn service... The truck outlasted the lawn service too, it's probably still out in the grove with 4 flats and a dead battery.

It was a good day. We criss-crossed south western Nebr. and back to near Glenwood Ia. Went to the body shop where my 40 is at, to a friends hot-rod shop in Fremont and then to help out some distressed hot rodders ( Nicks uncle John and his friend Brian) Who broke down near Glenwood Ia. The Dodge sweptline never missed a beat. These pic's should raise some interesting comments. Gary
