Looking for some aluminum flywheel technical advise if possible please. The old school type aluminum flywheels typically had their brand and iden***y showing in the rear recess area so they were obviously not machined from a billet. My question is, were they a forged aluminum blank or a casting, and also whether anyone know what the aluminum alloy specifications were. I know that this is an "out there" request but I'm counting on the HAMB's diverse wealth of knowledge. Thanks in advance.
