just TIG'ed up a 17x11x13 aluminum tank for the chopped 48 I need to find a cheep aluminum inlet tube and cap Is there anyone out there that would know where I can get my hands on something I can weld on this thing. Thanks, bob
that's a pretty cool looking truck...couldn't you just make one with a pipe and a round plate on the end notched to fit whatever cap you found?

Hmmm...some questions occured to me after I saw your truck. What kind of flathead is in it? Eighth by eighth? How many 97s? What part of Texas are you from? After you get the doors chromed and the gold fur interior installed, are you goin to post more pics and introduce yourself? You are lucky this isn't the old days when the HAMB veteranos de la tiempos antigua would have piled on you and QUESTIONED your MASCULINITY and your TASTE in MUSIC.
Bob is a fellow Livermoron and fabricator. Homeboy can weld like there is no tomorrow... I got to know him through a mutual friend... and saw some of the chopped bikes he was building... Next thing you know, he picks up that F-1... chops it... and is having fun... so I introduce him to the HAMB. Hopefully he'll tell us a little more about himself (height weight, measurements, sexual preference etc.) and then jump right in the fun. Welcome Bob! Sam.
