I bought an aluminum radiator from speedway. When I got it, it had a big tag that said not to use br*** fittings on the radiator. It also came with one aluminum barbed fitting and a plug. Well I need another fitting for the trans cooler. Can I use stainless in aluminum.

Also, it said to check for electrolysis voltage. How do I do that. No instructions with the radiator.

There is no coolant in the transmission lines to have any electrolysis issues with so br*** fittings should be fine.

Maybe it was for the overflow? Or I also heard if you drive where they salt the roads you may have a problem with Galvanic corrosion on the exterior of the radiator which shouldn't be an issue where he lives.

Anything, other than aluminum, screwed into that radiator, will cause corrosion.

    Dissimilar metals......................Moisture accentuates the problem..........

Any aircraft shop, your local general aviation airport, will likely have an ***ortment of aluminum fittings. VERY common items. Of course, also available elsewhere, but aircraft use aluminum in aluminum.
