Technical aluminumized exhaust,,,

Have any of you guys had a aluminumized exhaust bent up for your vehicle. Then polished it?

Curious how long the shine lasted through the constant heat/cool cycles, and how soon did it start rusting? Thanks

 

I've done several 32 Ford exhausts in aluminized pipe. I normally have them heat coated for longevity and appearance.

 

Heat coated? Please explain.

 

Never polished it but have used it many times. I know that after a lot of miles they can be wiped pretty clean.
