Am I close to some sort of record?

bought my '49 in 1999 - just drove as a full custom 2 weeks ago (and its not close to streetable condition). OK, I drove out of the garage and 5 houses down and back, but I DID drive it!. Been and off and on project for a solid 9 years. My excuse, built a teardrop trailer from scratch and restored/remodeled a 1950's home (all of it!)... so car had to wait in the wings a few times...

 

I feel much better now, kinda....bitch of it is I had 5 projects(2 of them I have had since 86 & 87) and picked up another one last year. My wife is really starting to wonder about this. I have built and finished quite a few cars since we got married, 17+years ago, and yet none of them were mine!!! Hell, I took my favorite(at the time) 4 wheel drive truck I was driving every day, pulled the motor out to put into John Kouws shop truck so he could get to Daytona(2001), and I still have not put a motor back in that truck of mine. Man I suck!!!

 

I'm going on 3 years and still don't have all the parts I need.
