Beautiful motor, really looks sharp! Nice to see some of these fellows work. I've been getting some parts thru them, thanks for the HAMB discount. Jims really a nice guy to deal with.

boy, you'd think a three window with a 409, quick change, halibrands, I beam front end, and radius rods would over shadow disc brakes, power windows and an electric fan...

    Looks good to me

  12. Toast, is that an original block, or (I'm guessing at 480+ci) one of the new Walden/World Products blocks?

Yup, that's the beauty of money. Plop it down an a table and the car builds itself
. The guys working in the shop really are only a courier service to bring the money to the vault.
Why do we praise those who do the building, but bash those who pay the same guys to do the building? I am a mechanic by trade and also do a ton of work at home. Some late model, some 'antique', some hot rod etc... As much as I enjoy working on the older cars versus newer ones, ultimately I like the money my customers pay me more.Am I selling out for doing the work, or are they selling out for paying a fair price for good honest work?
Bottom line is the guys are building a beautiful car. Many guys want the best of both worlds-a traditional looking car with modern creature comforts. It is the craftsmen who build them who determine how nicely they can combine the two worlds. This looks like a top 10 pick car from what I can see in the few photos. Well done!

Toast---guess you need to wash your mouth out with 112 octane---

  30. Wow, is that nice.

Someone's got some deep pockets. A build like has got to cost about 10 pounds of $20 bills.
