you need to buy it off of him or get him to make you another

  7. That model is so freakin' cool! Seeing all the effort he put into painting that model makes me really appreciate all time and effort Alex and you put into laying out and painting the 1:1 scale version.

  8. Man !! That looks like as much work as painting a the original car !!! Way cool !!!! >>>>.

  9. The ribbed bellflowers are a mystery to even model builders...

Beautiful work, and an unbelievable respresentation...

  10. That Fred sure did a nice job. It helps a lot if you take a car as well documented as MCD to work from - of course.

  11. ...and with big clumsy hands like mine would be a work of frustration. Very cool little build.

  12. Id send that guy one of those rare MCD tshirts if I were you............................nice props from over seas, and a killer car

This is the kind of spontaneous publicity - your name in print - that makes people. I'm in print! Things are going to start happening to me now.

Yea, Kirk, I don't know how you feel, but if I were you I miight really want to own that, or another just like it. Having pictures of your car is one thing but having a detailed replica is a whole 'nother experience.

  21. A bit of a nit-pick ... but considering the rest of the model is so painstakingly detailed, I'm wondering why "Fred" neglected to put the correct license plates on it? ...

... Perhaps they are just decals vice hand painted?

he probably thought that no one would be THAT much of a nit.

if someone built models of my old cars it would look more like a junkyard diorama.

amazing paint detail in that model, might be even better then the real one (LOL). something tells me that one would not be cheap to buy either... both are outstanding examples of a mild custom.
