Thanks for that @K13, much appreciated. I wonder if the Fendered 32 Phaeton is a US or Aussie body? The hi-boy version has lost me and I've actually got one in the shed.
Look forward to seeing more pics and more info on the entrants flamed '32 I am liking as one of my top 3 The other 2 Red tudor tub & '32 RPU, looks like it is hiding some details Down side of black cars at indoor shows details are lost, great for showing off flawless bodywork & paint
I think a few cars may of been held back for the 75th show next year. Seems like there is a lull before a major anniversary happens, seen it before, though just my opinion thru observations. Each year there tends to be that one car that screams winner, not feeling it this year. I do like the flamed phaeton.
The Engle brothers in Colorado did a lot of work on the red full fendered car. Might peak at their Instagram pages for body details? I’ve been seeing bits and pieces of it made via social media for a while but I had no idea the car was even remotely together at this point.
Funny that there's only dark red and black. Some cool stuff there but less interesting than last year for sure.
The red Pheaton is the only one that Gives me a positive vibe at this time. I had my eye on one that was for sale here locally at a great price that I still couldn't come up with the coin for.
I like cars with full hoods, black with flames, and two doors, the only head turner in the group IMO. Have fun and post lots of photos. Bob
Ok Fellas.... @Ryan, @Moriarity,@Jeff Norwell,@Kevin Lee,@Royalshifter, @Paul ,@Rocky This is THE one time of the year that Ryan has allowed some things to slide, the AMBR show. Already had a report, then I remembered years past it became a edgy issue. We had to have Ryan jump in to clear some things up in the past as Mods took some heat for deleting stuff we would normally delete. Ryan, please feel free to post a reminder. Thanks, Cob
So this is my first time seeing the lineup this year... Without studying details and going over each with a concerning eye in person, I have to say... I'm super uninspired. If it were me, I'd just give the god damned thing to Dan's car. To me, it's far more innovative than any of the contenders. Editor's Note: I'm sure all the contenders are super nice cars built with incredible passion.
