2014 AMBR contenders are up on HOT ROD Mag site. Thom Taylor does a great job getting these posted quickly and for some who is on the other side of the world it is greatly appreciated. http://blogs.hotrod.com/2014-grand-national-roadster-show-contenders-104141.html
he's a bigger write up on the wreck=--holy*****! http://blogs.hotrod.com/tragedy-104161.html#axzz2r9tW5Nbe
X2 on the traditional cars, remember when the AMBR was won by non-functional cars that hardly could be called roadsters. Some of these actually have steel wheels! Interesting to see a lakes roadster as a AMBR contender, don't remember competition cars as contenders but, then again, why not?
While it's good to see cars done in a traditional theme, I can't help but feel it's starting to become faddish.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a Phaeton will get the top prize, will it be the Ford or the Chevy? I say the 35 Chevy.
kind of agree...the economy could be having an impact perhaps, who knows but the pendulum will keep swinging.
