I'm a 35 Chevy phaeton owner and it doesn't do it for me. The 32 Ford phaeton is my pick. I know of a couple of other 35 Chevys down under that IMHO are nicer however they are not this type of build.

I love the 35 Chevrolet " standard EC series" phaeton, one of 217 built & sold in 1935 in USA . Maybe one of 3 built in Canada ? Knowing his other car the 1935 CHEVROLET MASTER SERIES sedan " The Grand Master" of 2002 ridler award fame, this car must be its equal. Its supposed to be shown at Detroit 2014 autorama but cannot win the ridler because its already been shown at GNRS.

I picked up on some innovative ideas that troy trepanier incorporated in this touring car. I like the fact they went to satin black low shine on the luggage rack and also the firewall, it really helped to make the car stand out . I think the independent front suspension under the car is also treated to this same finish. The old style vet fuel injection also has been treated to the satin finish rather than chromed or polished within an inch of its life look that has dominated since the late 80's and into the 90's .

I will incorporate these same features of low luster on my build of my 1935 Chevrolet standard series roadster. By the time I am done building, probably be old hat by then and out of style, but I don't care.

my 35 all steel roadster will have.....kugel stainless ifs,..not polished, a real Du Vall silicon bronze windshield cast from the original patterns, jag rear powder coated to look like unpolished stainless.........set of fast freddie 48 IDF webers, vertex mag....6 speed tremec...and one huge pile of wood all refinished. wheels will be dayton 72 spoke wires in 16 & 18" rims painted 41 ford niles green a very soft green colour.

Paint will be nitrocellulose lacquer in black
