Agreed. But we can hope. I'm really tired of Champaned color billit thingys like won last year, it would be great if something at least somewhat traditional would win!

Nothing "cookie cutter" about that build. A lot of traditional elements with just enough "bling" to make it interesting. A ton of work to make that a reality.
You suppose that now Boyd is dead the winner might not be a mis-shaped $5,000,000 billetmobile '32?

DEFINITELY over the top....but that was the point. Steve Kormondy and the rest of us wanted an absolute, no holds barred "show and go" 60's hot rod. A '32 John Mazmanian could have/would have done.
Jim and Jason and everyone else involved did such a terrific job on this car, can't wait to see it next week!

Oh, the plexigl*** firewall? It's just an interior panel made from plex, the firewall is steel, from Brookville, not to worry!

Come on Jason, it's not like you're busy, post the video!

  15. absolutely no chance of winning....it looks driveable!!!!

  16. Thanks Larry! Fantastic!!!!
    Later,

    The Ardun sounds fantastic!

I'm glad to see cars like this being built to the level of finish this one is obviously being held to. I hope it does well in the big show.

Gonna take a lot of BILLIT to beat that one, but I'm confident they will find a way to judge it out of contention.:(

Isn't that the truth. Larry cleared the grandstands with that one, outta the park.

BTW, anyone seeen Larry's old car since Bruce sent it down the road? I hope it isn't squirreled away in some collector's privarte stash. That car needs to be creating some polution on a regular basis.
