    Barris gets the credit for this car, but from memory Joe Bailon did the body and paint.

    Somewhere I have a magazine article showing Joe doing the chop, with George in the photo!

    Barris may have taken the job on, but as in many of the cars he is credited with. Someone else did the work.

    Will see if I can find the article on its building

    Wouldn't be surprised... Let me know if you find it, would love to have a copy of it.

    The price doesnt seem too far out of line, but again I havent seen it in person...

    What the hell were they thinking with those pipes! Cool looking car aside from those.

    Those pipes were a thing of the times. I remember cars like this inspiring me to add pipes sticking all out of the models I'd build.

    To get a box full of discarded chrome goodies from the older kid next door model building days was just as good as it got back then.

    man..isnt that the truth...like winnin the lotto! and ot as it is.......had this bully on the bus...always given us young kids ****.....one day, he just handed me a paper bag full of ol baseball cards! then like a ****head, i gave them all away 20 yrs later! without checkin what was in there! but, that day on the bus, ill never forget! funny thing is....now the guy spends 100 bucks in our restaurant every week!!!!ha! ****er!:D

    i used to cut the side pipes off my hot wheels with my dads side cutters, found one like that in my tool box the other day! its still a sweet car, but i would burn my self with them pipes, im clumsy!!
