    Does anyone out there have a source for American magnesium 12 spoke spindle mount wheel center dust covers? Text 423-306-2354, thank you

    There are two different ones.
    Small for the Anglia spindle version
    Large for the early Ford version.
    The large ones should be available from an auto parts store.
     
  3. If I remember right early Datsun drum brake truck caps fit the Anglia wheels. Wow, that was a long time ago.

    I am sourcing some to fit spindle mount Halibrands, they are 1-15/16. Looks like NAPA BK7302409.

    I have wondered this for a long time so I'll take this opportunity to ask...........
    Why were the caps left off on many cars in "the old days"?
    I seem to recall seeing them absent from both aluminum spindle mount wheels and wire spoke dragster wheels.

    Personally I think the original American spindle mount caps are kinda ugly. Run without, to check the nuts? Save weight?LOL…
