I just saw Milner's coupe at the World of Wheels Pittsburgh (which sucked). That duece was awesome in AG but it's the biggest piece of crap now. It's falling apart, the body is rotting off the frame and it hasn't run in like 8 years... And Paul LeMat is washed up, the guy looked (and smelled) homeless sitting in his booth... $15 for a poster and $25 More for an autograph?!?!?!?! WHY CAN'T SOMEBODY JUST COME UP WITH A HUGE WAD OF CASH TO BUY THE CAR AND RESTORE TO IT'S FORMER GLORY?

    Gotta go with Milners 32!

  4. Gotta go with the fastest car in the valley. Milner's 32.

  5. I liked the truck with the chute hanging off the back, but out of the 4 I'd say the coupe then the Merc then the 55. Never did like the 58's but loved the 59's go figger:D

  6. I'm going with Curt's Citroen 2CV.

  7. Mine would be Milner's dragster from the sequel...."More American Graffiti". :)

I've been in love with the '32 coupe from the first time that I saw the movie. I was twelve and it's always been my favoite car. I'm building mine more as a traditional car though, flathead, ect.

  10. NICE 58! I spotted one for sale in Dekalb Illlinois a few months back, looked just like it. My fav in the movie was "that bad ass Chevy".;)

My buddies and I rented that movie about 20 year's ago, when I was 17... Most my buddies argued wether it was the Milner coupe or the 55... Little did they know that it was always the Merc that is the coolest. That Merc started my love for Kustoms.

I agree with the last Milner scene in AG2... Has me in tears like a little girl with a skinned knee everytime I see it.

  14. Of the choices, I'd take the '55 (pre roll-over). The merc was pretty rough as I recall, I wouldn't fit in the '32, and the '58 is a bit too pretty for this guy.

If I were there, I'd take the '60 cad full of chicks that got the shaving cream treatment...

  16. The '57 Plymouth Toad backs into. It's the same model and color as my very first old car. Wish I'd never have sold it.... (single tear, sniff - sniff)

Gotta go with the '58; of the 4 choices that's the only one I owned (long before the movie was made)

Didn't "Opie's" G/F, Cindy Williams frim Laverne and Shirley drive an Edsel? That's my favorite. Second would be the Merc......

The 55 hands down. But my second choice of course is Milner's coupe

  23. Somehow I ended up with the 55 Chevy and the chopped Merc in die cast aluminum.

Are the 32 coupe and 58 Chevy still available?

    Did Ertl make these?
    (Mine are packed away.)

  24. Any votes for he rearend-less cop car? Come on tell me who hasn't dreamed of doing that one to your favorite lawman...

Merc gets style points but the '55 wins the bad-ass trophy.

First, I'm votin' for the Coupe. Sure, it ain't what it use to be (that goes for a lot of us), but it's still very cool. The owner will not sell. He's smart. Better than a trust fund. Can you even imagine what it would pull at Barret Jackson? I don't have a lot but what I got I'd give to buy it.

Barring that, I am just finishing a four year tribute project to build the Coupe as we'd like to think it was in the movie.

Yeah, I know all about the 55's big block. I also know that pig weighs almost twice the Coupe.

    My money's on the deuce.

32's are played, I'd rock the 55 over it any day.
