I now watch about 2 hours of television a week. Awesome show, never knew Tommy Ivo was small in stature. Not important really, but I've always loved his style. I've got Ed Iskenderian's face etched in my head, he lives about five miles from me, and if he ever walks into my work I'll probably wig out. Camfather, if you read this please come to the only salvage in town.

I'm glad this show was done,"A sport that has forgotton it's history--has no future !. To be sure there were far more innovators, fabricators and speed merchants from all over this USA, but what was shown is great. Tom Ivo may be small in stature but has the heart of a lion and was one of the best "leavers" I ever saw, "Snake/Mongoose who they be?

I'm luke warm over this show. Foose just isn't a strong narrator. He has a much better day job. The footage is heavily recycled and it just seems like it was made for a main stream all American family that likes cars but doesn't understand how they work. I would have hoped for something aimed a little more towards the bread and butter of the market. I do like the interviews with the legends, though. Tommy Ivo is the shit, but I can't help but smirk at the thought of him losing his temper... Not exactly intimidating. :)

I wouldn't care if Rosie O'Donnell hosted it. (well..that may be a bit extreme ).
I'm just glad to see it. Beats Dancing with the stars, American Hot Rod and that chopper show.
I got HDTheatre again for a while.
Dish has a holiday preview thing going with some movie channels we don't normally get as well as the HD premium channels.
So, I'm recording stuff like crazy. :D
I just hope they repeat the Hot Rod shows that I missed so I can get them too.

Does anybody now how many episodes have been aired to date? I set my DVR to record all new episodes, but it's not listening very well. I've got five so far, but I think I've missed one or two. I was using the info button to see the title of each episode, but after the third one it stopped that. Maybe I'll just recrd all, then weed out the repeats.

The repetitive commercials are horrible but the shows are worth it. I watch American Icon, Chasing Classic Cars, and Cafe Racer. It is a pretty good channel overall and is a great alternative to the more polished "annoying host" shows on the powerblock Saturday mornings. Last night's American Icon The Hot Rod was all about So Cal Speed Shop and how Pete Chapouris came to be friends with Alex Xzydias. It also set it up to look like the torch would eventually be passed to Jimmy Shine. Pretty cool show. If they have a marathon around the holidays and you havent seen it yet I highly reccomend watching..............

I think the 11th episode is coming up next.
    I've missed getting 3-5 I think.
Commercials, that's why I record them and watch them later.
The HDTheater coms are not bad. Better than those law firms wanting you to sue some drug company, or male enhancement drugs, or auto insurance commercials that all tell you they can save you a bazillion bucks and give you cash back. Yeah, right.
I LOVE the skip button.

Have you looked lately? Torrents seem to be a slow way of downloading. This show is about 10GB and would take days on end to download. Newsgroups are faster. And DVDs sent through the USPS is possibly the best.

There's the episode of the so cal speed shop as a torrent file available but that's it...it's not a big file at all and usually dosent take more than 1hr to download...wish people were more interested in seeding these shows rather than all the other crap on tv these days....
