True, that does seem like a lot of dough for a lousy license plate. However, factor in the price of the golf cart, fully equipped with two ragheads, and the price is far more reasonable.

  2. I have a matched set of 46 and 1 47 plate from Territory of Alaska, yes they are made of cardboard type material. Got them in Nome in about 73/74.

A buddy of mine recently sold a pair of plates for about $25,000. If I remember correctly, they were early Thirties Alabama plates with single digits.

I've got a 2000 (according to a hand written note on the back) New South Wales plate and an undated (probably Seventies or Eighties) Tasmania plate (white background, blue numbers). Do these have any value?

I also have a weird 1923 California plate. It doesn't look like any I can find on the internet. The ones that I've seen on the internet have three digits then Cal 1923 then three more digits. This plate has Cal 1923 (on the left side) then two digits then a star and then three more digits. The numbers are 10 (star) 166. Anyone know what this plate is?

    "Looks better", but it's not.

Anyone have an old, crusty '37 Arizona plate (OLD and CRUSTY being the key words)?
