It took me a couple of weeks to see the humor in this error....

1962 Volvo PV544 (looks like a small 1946 Ford 2 door sedan), with a 5-speed transmission conversion. I got very lucky with this screw-up, it started vibrating after we returned from a 260 mile test drive.

That is about the easiest way to get yourself accidentally shot. I keep my weapon close but having it sitting with the hammer back is a good way for it to fall and discharge. Leave it in the pipe and ride the hammer down. It takes a fraction of a second to thumb the hammer back. Might want to add a battery hold down and move the extension away from the positive terminal while we’re talking safety.

I think the trailer is way better, dont look like you could get 2 snowmobiles in a cybertruck.
If it starts with cyber can you really call it a truck? cyberpup maybe ;)

The 1911 Colt and its many quality clones are perfectly safe to cary "cocked & locked". For it to fire the safety must be disengaged, the grip safety must be depressed, & the trigger must be pulled. The biggest problem is in a stressful situation is keeping your finger off of the trigger until you are sure you must shoot. Don't know what that one is for sure it looks like a 1911 with extended grip frame.

I had one of the next style Volvos. I wish I still had it. It was very dependable & tough!

I'm very familiar with a 1911 and it's safety features. Unfortunately, that is not a 1911 nor one of it's many clones. The weapon pictured does not have the grip safety. The weapon shown appears to be a CZ75 or one of it's clones. I am very familiar with those as well. They are a double action pistol and there is no need to keep the hammer cocked. They can and have discharged if the weapon is dropped with the hammer back. Here is a picture of a CZ75 for comparison to a 1911.

Note that not all CZ mags are extended. Mine are flat. Also note the single grip screw on the CZ and it's location and the lack of the grip safety.

This is a 1911 clone. Note the double grip screws and the trigger safety on the back of the grip.

But with the starter being out, the battery being loose and everything in the photo, I can see where the owner might have more on his mind than gun safety. Thus the friendly reminder.

  18. JNAKI, I liked your story. When my wife, and I got married. I had, and still do have our 1968 Vette. She was 16 and still in high school. We needed a car for her to drive to school.. So I got her this SS 396 375-bhp 4 speed 1969 Camaro. She loved that car. We still have the Vette, but sold the Camaro when our family got larger.:( A few old photos of it. 097.jpg 015.jpeg 212.jpg

And this is why I’m searching for vintage blower restraints. I lifted the blower off my Challenger once street racing. That is an experience I never want again. Wound up parked in someone’s front yard. Also why N0S is way down the list of things to put on the car.

When my wife & I got married in 1969 we totaled her '60 Porsche Convertible D in Montana. She was in the hospital in Bozeman from August 5th to December 2nd. I went deer hunting.
