I get nervous just looking at that photo. And I remember being that stupid as a teenager.

 

That is a memory I don't want to relive. The top of the motor didn't look anywhere near that neat when the blower left the car.

 

I see no humor in that. I have used those jacks & they scare the hell out of me. I once trapped myself under a '38 coupe using firewood rounds for jack stands (the round way). I was lucky to have been able to learn that lesson.

I just keep buying ring spanners and then leave them hanging on the brake line. Makes it easy when you need to do something like change a wheel cylinder.

 

So that’s where the 10mm wrench went?

 

That’s almost as good as leaving the nut on the bench after flaring the tubing

Those things would cause the DOT to have an absolute hissy fit. Now how to install a SBC….
