  5. I've told this several times here but it's still very funny to me. Iwas trying to start my 53Buick Skylark which starts off the carburator throttle rod, so I'm laying across the grill and under the hood when the trans finally filled and I had left the car in drive, so it climbed my front porch steps broke one of the porch posts smashed the hood down on me so I was right down there watching the fan turn in my face. I thought about it while the Buick groaned and kept pushing up the steps and I had to stop it by putting my hands over the 4 barrel til it quit rolled back off the steps and free ed me so I could get out from under the hood..Fun on my front porch with my 53 Buick Skylark. Should have kept it.

Yep, did that with my first car, 61 Impala 348/3 speed, it didn't have straight pipes, but the glass packs and long pipes sounded like it did, it's the simple things in life right..........

If you want to keep tour Ford all Ford, then by all means don't put a Chevy engine in it and you will always have oil in the driveway or garage to clean up, have something to work on every day and know by heart what the back end of every Chevy looks like!:D:p

Too funny @Bugguts . Back on post #8, I mentioned I was a "contributing artist" in the '70s-'80s for Street Rodder Mag.

That's one of my cartoons from the Magazine.
