I am helping my son do an engine swap on his..........GULP! Mitsubishi p/u.
It is getting a 2.3 litre turbo diesel from an '86 Ford Ranger p/u.

We are in need of a water pump PULLEY for said engine.

It is no longer serviced by Ford, but I have a Ford P/N,as follows:E5TZ8509F.

I truly hate to ask on here, but I know the power of the HAMB,and figure someone may be savvy to said engine or to Mitsu. products, and may know of another application that could be utilized.

I did "Google" the hell out of it,and registered on a couple of Ranger and Explorer forums.
As of yet nothing has turned up.

A Mit. P/N could possibly help.

Also ,it is a 2 row "slurpentine" belt pulley.

HELP! The quicker it is out of my shop, the quicker I can start throwing money at one,(or both) of my rides.

    Again,apologies,and

    thanks in advance!

A lot of Fords have a dual serpentine pulley on the water pump. Maybe see if they have anything close? Check the 2.3 Rangers (gasoline).

I'll follow up on those leads, thanks.

I have a machinist buddy who I dropped the pulley off with.

He said the biggest pain in the ass would be getting the little grooves right,(depth and spacing),insofar as having to reverse engineer it.

    The concern is belt wear.

On the other hand,if I could get my hands on an engineering drawing, then that would be golden.

As it stands,he is gonna' try to fab me one while I am gone for two weeks on vacation.

Material will probably be T6 aluminum stock, and I will have to check on having it hard anodized for wear resistance.

Now,where can I get that drawing???????????

Come on,you European and Aussie HAMB'rs,
there has got to be a 2.3 litre Mitsubishi diesel in use in your country.

At least, see if you can scare up a part number.
