    Hope the door didn't do to much damage. Guess that was a better place for it to fall than the hood or windshield. Just looking on the bright side.

    For you guys with sectional doors with the long coil springs don't forget to run the safety cables through the center. I had an insurance client who had a really nice 72 Nova sitting in garage with door closed the door spring broke and shot across the roof of the Nova putting a huge dent and screwing up the paint in various places on its trip to the back wall.

    Damn! For some reason, I'm always a little leery of this happening. I've often though about running a couple "safety" cables from the rafters and under the garage door rails, it would basically catch the door if it fell off the tracks....
