6 years ago I purchased a collection of Sprint car jackets from a well known driver. One of those jackets was a one off 1961 Hinchman Indy with the car name the Tegtmeir Spl. on the back. I had the jacket for sale on the HAMB for a while as I was letting some things go that I no longer wore. 2 days ago, I received an email for Debbie Tegtmeir the daughter of the car owner. Her father and Grandfather are no longer alive and she had nothing of theirs. I sold her the jacket for my cost. yesterday, I received the nicest letter from her which is why I guess I started American Rebel in the first place. To make lasting memories through jackets. One never knows the power of the sleeve. Thanks Debbie for making my day and I hope you wear it always in rain or shine. You are an American Rebel!!
