Yum....yum. Thought I was the only guy who regularly clears off a bench to work on a turkey or baby back ribs.....or moves one vehicle out of a stall to put the gas burner deep turkey fryer inside !! Great crew you have

My aunt wanted her picture taken with the 48 in 1982 or 83 when we had a family reunion at our house.


Me with the 48 at Bonneville in 1998. I had taken a photo of a Japanese tourist standing next to my truck with his camera and handed him mine to take a rare photo of me with the truck. That was the last road trip I made in the 48 that was of any length. From here to Bonneville, from Bonneville to Pleasonton for Goodguys and back up 5 and 97 home to Washington in time to be at work at 7AM on Monday. 1944 miles plus probably 200 running around miles added to it. I shot 25 rolls of 35 MM film on the trip and it took me 3 paydays to get it all developed.


My 51 Merc Lower right in the photo with other PNW Mercs in front of Paul Harpers house up on the Hill in Roslyn Wa gathered for what I think was the first Run to Roslyn or a very early one.
That was one of the first events that I took the Merc to after I got it back together and running after it had sat since 1966.

lived in this crummy little house from 1983 - 1993. the Dodge was my daily driver. the Cadillac fit in that tiny garage with only a few inches to spare. these were both original paint cars.

 

Taking my great aunt for a ride. She turns 86 this year.

 

My eldest trying some MIG welding for the first time when she was only 13. Time flies…

 

So, there is my money the barrister from Zimbabwe promised me!
