Anatomy of a flaked and kandied roof....

Fucking bad ass dude! Im a secound year in my collison repair class and its my senior year.So my teacher is letting me repaint my 60 impala so I plan to pattern the roof and panel the body!

This guys question was never answered and Id like to know too. How are the masking steps done when one color is mixed and needs to be sprayed in different areas? Must take a long time to do this, letting that color dry so you can tape on top of it to mask the next line for a different color(?) Am I way off here? Whats the trick? Thanks!

 

oh yea, and we never got an outside sunny day pic?? It was painted 2 years ago?
