I guessed they were smaller up front too. Glad I asked and even more glad you told me! Thanks and keep up good work.
I saw him and spoke with him for a while! The thread does the car no justice! Spot-on! Thanks for taking time to chat with me! I got a lot of good info and a major kick in the*****! Got to get on mine now!
I was there, just didn't end up on the beach. I just couldn't put the car through the salt water. No regrets, is what it is. Did have a problem with the distributor not engaging into the drive far enough. Turns out the head is 1/4" too thick. Ended up running up to the shop Friday night to machine the distr housing down.
Anytime man! Was a pleasure speaking with you! Get to it!! Hit me up if ya need anything! lowbuckboz@gmail.com
It's so RIGHT! All Genuine Ford Parts! GREAT example of 'nickel plated' '29 shell... To chop this roadster would be a travesty. Engine pics tightened my pants up... The steering wheel looks like Henry planted it there, likewise the stick. Just paint some Ford red in the scripts of the '46 caps. I couldn't drive that thru the salty sand either...not YET, anyway. Superb job. Really superb.
Thanks man, I appreciate it! Glad you like it! I'll be painting the caps, orange like the pinstripe on the car. I think my favorite part on the car is that steering wheel. I'm very happy with how it has turned out. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
