  2. Another day.. got some body work don't to the roof section. Do not know if a tree fell on the thing or what ever. Spent a few hours with the hammer and dolly and got it back in shape, So I can start fitting it to the cowl.

One can see the damage to the roof ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

Hammering on this old steel is a pleasure compared to todays thin tin.

The rood section is 1 1/2" wider than the Studebaker cowl so will need to pinch it in.

Also trim the round corner off that the 34 had so the AA door will fit the roof.

  3. Another good morning... Started fitting doors to the cowl, There was 3/8
height difference from the Stude cowl and the AA doors on the body line. The hinges fit the pockets but the lines was way off.
So I cut the hinge pocket on the cowl and moved it down. Only did the driver upper so far all trial and error and time consuming. The next 3 should go quicker...

Welded back up and outer skin reattached. A metal finisher I am NOT like some of the others on this site.

Body lines line up now with upper hinge bolted in. Again 3 more to go.

Also need to address the Grand Canyon size gap and fill middle hinge hole.
