Well, I was born and raised in the Inland Empire, and was always infatuated with old cars. My best friends dad had at least 30 of them and we went all over to shows, like Hot August nights, and we where always at Pomona for one thing or another. I had a 1967 camaro in High school and it was a blast an till the insurance got taking away. Fast forward 15 years, I am now living in Indianapolis and trying to convince my wife that I needed to return to the hobby (I literally looked at 25 different cars in the last 2 years) She said go for it. She even gave me a loan an till the bank opened on Monday! So last year I picked a 1953 Chevy Belair. My best friends father past away a couple of years ago and I never thought that my own father was into cars at all, well now he has MS and we attend all of the shows together. It has been an awesome experience for both of us. Which leads me to the H.A.M.B, I have been a stalker for about 6 months and finally joined. My wife even got me a Alliance membership for my birthday. I will not pretend that I know everything about old cars, but everything I do know I have had to teach myself.
