I have been doing nothing but work on our trailer the past few weeks. We really want to use it this summer, so I have no other choice if we're going to make it. I finally have all the stripping done, the frame fixed, and windows bought. Also I was setting there looking at it the other day, and got to thinking about the trunk my Dad used to have on the back of his Model A. I tried it and it fits! Always good to have extra cargo space! Also I finally know what it is. It was built by the Air Corps. for the army in WWII. Explaines all the olive drab green paint. Here is a shot of how it looks now, you can see a couple of spots I have polished on the nose.
Great looking! Man , anyone in the viewing area of that thing will need a welding helmet to see past it. Great project!
That thing is pretty damn neat... I like it! Be cool to see it all polished out... it's gonna be bright as hell.
Terry, That thing is looking great! Love to see people building teardrops on here, perfect to drag behind your heap! : )
