Sorry for not sharing this earlier, but here are the first two issues of JAMMIN GEARS from New Zealand, sent to me by 4eva4banger. It's a first-rate magazine -- excellent photography, good writing, and nicely balanced . . .
av8, Really appreciate the ink here!!!!!!!!!! The magazine is going great, its just getting it out there so people know about it! Issue 3 is out now and features Thacker and Shine and the Antique Nationals as well as some good old Kiwi History. Anyone can email me at hopup32ford@hotmail.com Greg
Does anyone know if we can subscribe over here in the states? Any rag that praises Ol' Hank can hang out in my mailbox anyday.
Greg -- What with all the drama of the last several months I just got around to really looking at the mags, and they are killer! These are keepers for sure, and thanks for sending them to me. Mike
Mike, I am glad you have enjoyed the mags I sent you. It's a fairly low buck deal that I am helping out with. The guys behind it are all diehard rodders and the proof is in the pudding I guess. Its a magazine that all HAMBers should be all about. Care free simple fun with good old fashioned hot rods and music. Like I say Issue 3 is out now and the guys are working on Issue 4. On another note has anyone read the latest CKD with two features I have done on Graeme McNeill's 28 pick up and Hayden Mitchell's 32 three window? Also have some stories appearing in Nov and Feb Street Rodder Magazine of more Kiwi hot rods.
Well.....while we're at it........are you all aware of Wrench Magazine?? New from NJ! http://www.wrenchmagazine.com I actually have an article covering ScaryLarry's Jalopy Showdown. Check it out.........
