A number of years ago, I was hanging out at Tardel's shop and took notice of the cutest damned 'T' roadster I had ever laid my eyes on. I say "cute" simply because the proportions of the car were so compact and athletic. It was if the car was a high ...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Never been called "Mr. Bridges" before.. That's a first. Thanks for wanting to feature my amateur photography! Neat little T. Eric is doing an awesome job with it. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Am working on a very similar deal, steel T with a narrowed 29 cowl on 32 rails with a Super Duty Pontiac four. Won't end up as low, but will try for a nice stance and proportions. Just buttoned up the motor/trans, hopefully will have it rolling this summer, been sitting a while. (Sorry, pictures aren't loading)
I'm not a "T" fan but you could easily fall in love with this one...that engine is just meant to be there it is awesome!!
Until a couple years ago, I've hated "T"'s, because of the seventies. Over the last few years I've grown to love them, when done right. This one is right. (and it's different...it's not a 32.)
Damn it that thing is cool. These pre 26 t's are now on my wish list after falling in love with Rico' Sqaglia's roadster. This has that same "tight package stance" which is what makes these cars cool.
Ive used cute on occasion....thatks for clearing up why i used the word, wow what a visual and this lil T sure fits it automotively....great hot rod!
Thanks Ryan and all! The proportions the Tardels setup were spot on. Though the suspension is totally different now, I kept the axles in the same spot...if it aint broke, don't fix it! The Squaglia T is a major inspiration for me and the car is very intentionally being built in it's style.
Anderson, I can't wait to see how the car turns out. I greatly admire the work on your El Camino over on Dogfight and I have no doubt that this car will be as impressive if not more so. I assume the sale of the Camino will fund this project?
I love how the frame rails follow the body line. I also have to say the Marilyn at the bottom of the original post made it all work for me.
Yes. I'm at the point now that I need to start buying parts to finish fabrication to move forward. Need to build the engine too. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
it's one of two t builds i've been following since the beginning. here's the other http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=720334
Both are beauties.I ,too, never cared much for T's until recently.Once you get the proportions right ,they have a great look.
Easily one of my favorite builds on the HAMB. This car, 999, and the little Green A in Australia. Maybe a couple others.
Eric's doing a great job on his T... It's great to see the progress, fabrication, and very tasteful and thought-out build. Malcolm
Quiet Eric's roadster is the reason I sought after, and bought, a early RPU for my Uncle. He has done a superb job thus far, and I am positive he will continue to make this roadster a bad mother fucker. Roadsters are for lovers....
