anybody know what the blower anglia /austin gassers{ that was at the meltdown } what rules they run under ?? anything posted anywhere ?? thanks
Rules? there are a few different sets of rules. Maybe you mean the Meltdown criteria? or are you looking for classification info? http://meltdowndrags.com/criteria/
i know there are certain build rules at the meltdown -but was wondering what all the scott rods guys build there cars by ? i did notice the green anglia used a stock type front frame rails -most the other cars used sq. or rect tube / all the cars had ladder bars / it just seems like if a guy was building a gasser -scott rods type car -it would be nice to see a list of some info ?? kinda like a nhra handbook ?? just curious ! after a w/end of watching the "scott cars " im hooked ! plus they was all very nice to answer a lot of my questions in the pits !! thanks guys -I REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW YOU PUT ON !!-
the problem with the meltdown is that it's over too soon, you don't have time to absorb it all, then go back and look and ask questions again. Nice talking to you in real life, btw!
The rules are posted on our Facebook page. Stock frame, or 2X3 rails are it, no tube cars. Ladder bar rear and straight axle fronts only. 6-71 blowers, some basics. Any questions any of the guys will answer.
