Technical Anglia front brakes/wheel adapters

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by alphabet soup, Jan 19, 2014.

  1. A buddy of mine just bought an Anglia. It's been a drag car for quite some time. The guy who had it ran the stock brakes and 4-lug wheels. My buddy was asking me of I knew of a company that made a disc brake kit or conversion to fit the stock spindles. I told him I had no idea. But I did know where to ask. Also, if you guys that have run these cars on the street with a mild small block think the stock brakes are enough. Who has wheel adapters to convert to 5-lug. Thanks in advance, Gene.

Wilwood makes disc brakes for "Anglia style" spindles. I don't think they would be a bolt on deal for stock spindles though.

And you can buy hubs that fit Anglia spindles that are 5 lug. Again might be a pretty good project to make them work on a stock setup.

    This pretty well covers it.
