Look at the difference in the rear fender-to-tire clearance of these two cars. I'm guessing the top car was bound up tightly with real stiff springs and the lower was softly sprung/shocked. My preference would be the bottom softer setup. From other clues like tire and wheel type I'd say the lower evolved at a later date.
Here's my old Anglia. I used a socket (don't recall the size !) to set the tire to fender gap on my car during the build. Never did change the cars height, so sitting still, in almost 13 years...mine was...close. Mike
I wish Ford had put the headlights in the fenders like this one. They always looked a little goofy and frog-eyed up on stalks above the fenders. Fixed that on ours. On my next and last Anglia build I'll fix the rocker panel/door mismatch and sink the headlights.
