Did a quick search on the HAMB and found no info.

I did see that a clone was for sale at one time.

Anyone know where the original is?
One of the best movies of all time.

Animal House was filmed in Eugene Oregon and the surroundings. The vette was owned by Paul Smith. He worked on the film as well. Paul is still a big car guy with a barn full of runners and projects.

Good friend and hotrodder in Eugene, Oregon still owns the Vette from Animal House....he has saved all the literature having any pictures about the car and Belushi, etc (like the TV guide with that on the cover).....
Also has a copy of the check written to him for the rental of the vette for the movie...
He was a teamster during those years, working for the movie studios moving equipment for them and also Drag racing around the country...
Damn, Micheal...wasn't going to give up Pauls' name....oh well, too late...

I found a great way to watch the film again recently...found a new version of the DVD that included along with the original film two shorts:
One was a current update on the lives of the characters, shot with the available original actors staying in character as geezers...VERY funny stuff. the other was a series of interviews of the actors about the filming experience. It is sure a shame that Senator Blutarsky is no longer available...
No updates on the vehicles, though.

LeMay Car collection in Tacoma Wa. last I heard. The new museum isn't done yet, but I do believe the death mobile resides in the late Mr. LeMays' collection

  22. And most recently of all, a "Roman Toga Party" was held from which we have received more than two dozen reports of individual acts of perversion SO profound and disgusting that decorum prohibits listing them here.
