We are in Austin Texas at the Lonestar Roundup researching for more culinary methods of pork preparation.

 

mmmmmmm piggy. Just had a pulled pork omlet here!

 

I heard that gambino is headed to Kansas after the round up, should tell them to roll a little slower and make the BBQ!

Pulled Pork= NoSurf
Beans= prototypedesignflaws
Coleslaw= Mrs NoSurf
Plates, napkins, flatware etc= Guiseart
Rolls/Buns= 2muchstuff
Mac-n-cheese= Mrs NoSurf + Mrs Greezy

I just found out I am starting my new job on Monday 15th, and I will be in St Louis for the AISC conference until Friday. That means I am going to need a lot of help this year again.

 

Carla and I were talking last night about the trip. When folks hear we are taking a mini vacation they get all excited and ask where. We reply KANSAS............................and you can hear the crickets. Some folks just don't get it.

 

What about soda pop/ water? Stuff like that?

 

Blacktopbudda is bringing a cooler full of pop. And Kerry usually brings some too. I have some 8 oz glass bottle of coke, and will get some 12 oz Mexican Coke too. You can bring some too if you like Mikey.

Kansas= America's true vacation destination.....

 

We'll bring a ton of homemade cookies.

 

Cool. I don't want to come empty handed. I'm not much of a cook so sundries it is!

When are you guys going? Are you going to try to meet for breakfast?

Hey Mike! I think our plan is to go for breakfast. We are going to pull the gypsy wagon with the family car, looks like about 1.5 hrs. If you want to caravan we could meet somewhere along the way?
