Between the Hamb-B-Q and this I'm pooped out and can't focus today either.

 

I think so, I haven't gotten through them all but to be in the pit of the winning car was amazing. I wish I could have caught the speedsters on Saturday but I had to leave.

 

No, I meant the NASCAR invite you had!

 

I'll send you a link to them once I get them up. I think I got some great shots of a couple of crew guys filled with nervous energy in the waning laps with their driver in the lead.

Thanks Jay we had fun. I was wiped out when we left and felt like a fool when I realized we were ony 5? miles from the hotel. Carla wanted me to stay at teh farm for a while!

So, we bugged out early hearing that the weather up here was going to get bad. Missed Omaha and Rocky. Drove home and thought we were idiots with nothing but blustery weather. Saw two snowflakes in our driveway. Went to bed with a nice wet 1" of snow on the ground, am snowed in todday with a drift out the front door burrying Carlas car!

Oops, not only did I forget about my Spun disks we forgot to get Torins book Jay!?!?!?!?!?!DOH!

 

Maybe a motorcycle class will need to be added if a track appears next year, like the Povertyflats "death machine" board track style bikes haha.

 

You ain't kidding Chris! All of a sudden my $20 T cowl is calling me, as if I didn't have enough other stuff to do!

 

Who says kids are not into hotrods?!?!?! Screw the naysayers! Raise your kids right!

 

Planning for next year. Timm, I'd be down for running a bike around the track. Or, a banger or ????

It was nearly a blizzard with less then a city block before it everything was a white wall this afternoon thatd have been awful to drive threw.

 

I still own my first bike , a 70cc Indian. Bring it on!

I must warn you that I did hang out with a biker gang in Gypsum last summer, look at that gruff face!

 

That was a fun day at the Flats Tim when you and my favorite Sarah came to visit.
I still have the motorized bikes of course but am putting together several old pedal bike "keepers" around here for visitors to ride as well.

 

It was a great day if you run out of room and need to make space for safer mobility options I will uphold my offer of disposing of at least one unsafe "death machine" unit.

You know, for the greater good.

Haha, I was thinking a leather helmet and some goggles would be the way to go but with my fat head I'd have to buy a whole hide to make the helmet. Dunno if I can afford that hah

 

I'll have you all know, this has been done.....

NoSurf and Blacktop own the Sweet-Valley Farm mini-bike championship of 2011..... It was late July at the farm, we were there for KKOA. Saturday night these two straddled their trusty steeds....



NoSurf kicked life into the fire breathing monster....



And it was off to the races, they lapped the shop, shot the gap between the barn, wheelied through the door-yard and it was POOF-KER-SPLAT!!!

NoSurf swapped ends and split his funny bone!

This thread is an excellent example of why I'm stoked to be moving down this summer

hopefully we wont have to see his ice riding skills at the next bbq!

 

Whoda thunk that a vacation in April to Kansas would be so fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, got stuck in my driveway today and had a D4 Cat pull me out. Now, it is all melting and muddy as all get out!?!?!?! Last day of vacation. Loving life!

 

Haha, yeah got stuck in mine as well. I was parked in a rut that filled with ice and I just spun this morning. Muddy here as well spose to hit 70 this weekend, go figure
