My buddy Dave Shuten sent me these pics of a 32 Tudor that he just got. I thought it was cool and he said it was OK to show it on here. He can't post because he is too cheap to get a decent connection at his house and his AOL account is screwed up. Ha Ha Ha Here is the info from his e-mail. I am sure a lot of you Michigan HAMBers know this car......His plans are to just put it back together as is, and drive it. i was 12 years old when i first saw this very car, and have been keeping track all these years. my friend ron mcqueen found this sitting behind a gas station in north hollywood, ca in 1960. it was gold with a blown flatty, then had an olds and finally a small chevy. he brought it to michigan in 1965, towing it behind his caddy. it was on the road until 1969 when he took it apart to update it but was busy drag racing all these years and never got to it. ive been waiting a long time for this one !!!!! took forever to was 40 years of dust off this thing. later, dave
I love the laid-out pictures...it looks like an AMT 3-in-1 kit. Just needs a gigantic instruction sheet and a puddle of glue...
WOW what a great acquisition! Thanks Aaron, for posting the pics for Dave. He was so excited on Sunday that he gave Denise a call to tell her about it. She, Megan and I had been at Paso and were heading to the Blackhawk Museum. Rather than repeat everything Denise just handed me her phone. Dave was just heading out to start washing it down. I thought he told me the SW speedo went to 150 and was worth about a grand. The rest of the SW's are curved gl***. The car's in the right hands now for sure.
