  13. The customer brought the headlights at the roadster show so we stuck the sticker on them. Roadster has a hot flathead ,five speed and a winters v-8 quickchange and the rear wheels are the ones that Danny did a post on widing the 18" wheels. Henry ford body been in the same family since 1954.

That’s a great lookin roadster…..I looked at your post before anyone had replyed and the first thing I thought after admiring it was, here we go the no paint guys are going to go nuts on this one.
I find it hilarious how popular no or old paint has become……1 or 2 guys build a car with good stance and nice parts but no paint and thats all people see , no or junk paint and copy it…….sheepeople
    On the other hand
If I didnt paint mine it could be running

You guys have got to have made a pact with the devil to keep turning out these fabulous cars. Every one that you have posted is a winner and this latest just might be "top of the heap". I would have a hard time parking it to get a "shiney" paint job but think I would opt for "good enough for the girls we go with" as it stands and give it a couple of years before deciding that it might be perfect just the way it is.

Looks great, Danny!! I hope you continue to post updates of this car and others.
Seems like it's been a while since you've posted shop projects!

Also, here's a photo of it from (almost exactly) a year ago when I was down there to get that F100 from Sean....

  27. Thanks for the reply!! I am going to get out my sheep costume and go for a ride in my unpainted car and I may order one of those axles later too! I think it looks TITS! vrooomm vrroommmmm

  28. Frank, Thanks sometimes i get ashamed of my self as these cars seam to be old hat, but without these great customers that let us have our way with their Hot Rods we could never build our dreams. I am glad that you'al like it and yes it does have the perfect hot rod stance.

It WILL be a neat roadster----When finished!!
Just a little friendly advice----Remove the headlight sticker until your roadster is finished.
Since I am the originator of the "coveted" LAR headlight stickers, these are meant to be displayed on "Finished" roadsters admitted for show on Fathers Day each year at Pomona Fairplex----------Don
