I'm posting these for my buddy "Fartman". He finally got his 33 Coupe after many agonising months (Adelaide is in South Australia). I chucked him a few hot rod mags one day years ago and created a hot rod monster!

He was into traditional style rods before I "saw the light" and plans a merc flathead and wire wheels for this car. He has heaps of other cool tin including some cool "car-den art".

Great start. It looks like you already have the right dash for it on the wall too! That hood sure looks like it could use a couple louvers though!!

Looks like a real sound body.....except for those bucket seats hehe !!

    Great score !!

  4. Nice 5w! The street rod bonnet and sides need to be ditched.

He is going to do exactly that and has a stock (pristine!) 33 grille and hood to go in it's place. I'll be surprised if they are not mocked up by tonight (it only arrived yesterday). I dare say the seats will be turfed as well. Martin has a real eye for old style.

He also has some speed parts ready to go. These pics just came through...

Can anyone identify that diff? Nine inch for sure? He says that there are no springs so I can't wait for the next round of shots.

Buying a car in primer from long distance would scare the bajeepers outta me........

.......... I hope there aren't too many surprises.

There's a risk but it's hard to find what you want in Australia (or any "remote" location) sometimes.
