Hmmm ... Mopar BB in a mid 50's Chevy - I think I've been there before. Not all that uncommon back in the day, especially if it was street driven a lot. It's one thing to have a nasty 327 there, but they can be finicky if they are truly nasty. A breathed on 383 usually ran real reliable and pulled like a freight train. Was a decent combo

I have nearly finished sandblasting the frame and have collected almost all of the suspension components except springs and ball joint spacers.

I'm on hold now for Christmas, kids come first

I did manage to finally buy an Edelbrock XC-96 from a fellow hamber, so its cross ram for my 427 now.
