Just to show there is no ill will,P.M. me your address and pay for shipping I have a pair of Speedway front springs from their gasser frontend kit you can have, maybe $50 shipped. And yes they will give a full ten in. I prefer going 12in. with a straight front axle the wheel sits in the opening better,at 10in. it makes the wheel look like its pushed too far back with the front end sitting higher.

  2. Good sport! Glad this is back as well. lots of info here.

  3. You talking about moving the rails of the existing stock subframe outboard? Including widening or otherwise modifying the crossmember? Maybe easier to start with some new steel tubing and make new rails/crossmember, and tie it into the rear rails.

It looks to me that rear axle is alot further foward than 15 inches and the front not a hole lot further foward than stock ! Let me tell Uall to roll a car back on all fours and put the pedal back on the rug is tuff. Thats a dude I would want to hangout with!

I pounded a 58 chevy truck with shackles in the rear and current 54 chevy gasser with same axle up front with shackles up front and see know difference.Other than toe. My car toe is 1/8 in. With out that lots of bump steer will acure. They all drive like wheelbarrels. There hotrods!

Keep up the work and pics. I started a 65 AWB coronet and this is motivating me to get back on my car. By the way looks really good. keep the pics coming.
